A "Tim" in Shropshire

This week I'm building the base for a "Tim" greenhouse for a customer in a very picturesque village in the hills of Shrophshire.  

They had kindly cleared away the old greenhouse and concrete it was sat on leaving a large clear area of concrete slab.  I extended the footings with solid concrete block set into a wet concrete mix and could then start building the brick walls from there.

The concrete floor had been laid on a slope (presumably to shed water) so I cut the first course of bricks on angle to get the walls up to a level position immediately.  I added a small cill of thin engineering brick to lift the doorstep off the ground to keep it dry.

Now the base is complete I have the exact measurements for the doorway and the cold frames either side so I can finish those parts of the build back at the workshop and order up the glass.  I'll be back in a few weeks once the glass has been delivered to me.
