This one is a little different (again!) to ones I have done before so I took the time to erect it back at the workshop to be sure all the glass measurements are right.
It's great, but I dreaded, the detail where all the gables and valley meet at one point above the gutter outlet. There is no room for mistakes there.
This greenhouse measures 3.4m long by 2.5m wide but it's 3.2m high so there is loads of vertical growing space, and headroom, and two tiers of shelving running through. At both gable ends there are opening windows, together with 4 auto-opening windows in the roof. The cold frame along one side is a generous size and should get well used.
I made a small model from the scaled plans I had drawn up to be sure it was all going to work out ok.
I’m really chuffed with the result. The roof feels almost domed and a cavernous space inside despite the small amount of ground space it takes up.
Here is the greenhouse having been erected back at the workshop to check the glass measurements before sending off the final glass order.
