I really love this one. It’s massive - yet it feels and looks right at home here and the colour really works to soften it.
Those crested ridge took a lot of work but Mick is right - they finish it off and it wouldn’t have look quite as good without them. I’m organising the workshop to make building those crested ridge a little easier in the future. I think I’ll be doing more of those.
A few work in progress photos here. It took 4 days to undertake the construction of this one on to the base.
There are 8 roof windows - all with automative openers - 2 manual windows in the side gables and 4 opening windows in the large cold frames either side of the porch.
I erected the main structure first and then started glazing the gable ends, then the roof and valleys - adding the windows and sealing up as I went. Finally I added the door, shelving, guttering and cold frames.
