The floor of the greenhouse was a thick sheet of ice - but it was dissolving away as I packed up the van on the morning of my 4th day here. Stephen tells me it was minus 4 as I worked on this one but thankfully I had my small radio keeping me company and Frances would kindly venture out with tea and a cuppa soup.
This is one of my 5m long porched greenhouses - you’ll see lots of examples of this one on my website. If you’d like to see the inside follow the link to a You Tube video I’ve made - click on the photo at the bottom of this page.
I added a flagged pathway around the sides and rear of this greenhouse and a raised bed inside it for growing direct into the soil - great for hungry / thirsty plants like tomatoes.
This one has 4 automatic opening windows in the roof, two large cold frames either side of the porch and everything I could think you might need is included - shelving, potting tray, coat rack - it’s all in there.
It’ll be spring soon!
