I love looking at other people’s workshops - but that’s not everyone’s idea of fun so this is just a short visit.
What’s striking to most is how small my workshop is and I don’t even have loads of expensive machines. Much of the joinery work I do is the ‘old-fashioned’ hammer and chisel way, hand saws, even sand-paper. Of course, I do have a range of excellent power tools - look at that rack of hand-drills in the picture above - and the workshop gets deep in sawdust each day as I work between the router, table saw and mitre saw. However, as this is only a one-man operation (plus Sarah doing all the painting) it’s plenty big enough for one. Welcome to my house - enjoy the tour! A ‘cottage industry’ in beautiful Wales.
Watch this space - I’ll be on the road for the next 4 consecutive weeks so they’ll be plenty of new greenhouse pictures and information coming through.
These are the quotes I’m posting off today! I’ve been in the workshop during this cold weather - building a couple of greenhouses I’ve already done the bases for. It’s also given me a chance to send some quotes out to all those people who have recently found me advertising on eBay. I haven’t actively advertised since the beginning of last summer when I listed on eBay (so I could catch up with building all those greenhouses already on the books). I put a couple of greenhouse adverts back on eBay a few weeks ago but it’s been so well received I don’t think I’ll need to advertise again for some time. This is a map hanging on the wall of my office of the greenhouses I’ve built. There are a few blank spaces that need flags yet!
