I’m really chuffed with this one.

I was interested to see how much space and detail I could cram into such a confined base footprint.

I might have gone a little over-board with the amount of shelving I put in! But the shelves are flexible - you can simply lift them out if you don’t want them.

I made the sides of the greenhouse REALLY tall. It’s great to have all that head-room, space and air inside though. Like a small church (!) - you feel the urge to look up and around you in that greenhouse rather than trying to watch you don’t bang your head!

I love it - look at that wonderful sky, and doesn’t that paint colour look right at home - and those crested ridge, and small panes adding interesting detail for such a small space - it could easily have been just another box.

This one is only 1.5m wide by 2.5m long - but with a little thought you can still do a lot with that!

Truro - Cornwall

I know - you don’t have to tell me - Truro is a long way for a North Wales resident like me - 7 hours drive!

But heh - once you’ve arrived it’s the same job as anywhere - apart from the welcome I got. Fred and Margaret brought me, and my friend Mat, cake and tea, bacon baps, and invited us in for fish and chips on our last evening.

Luckily I have an old friend who happens to live just down the road and Mat helped me with mixing, digging, lifting, shovelling. He also posed various cryptic statements to make you question the fabric of our existence - but that’s just Mat and it keeps things interesting!

I though it would be nice to take a photo from the same position over the course of this base build - so you see the ground getting marked out - then the foundations going in, the walls up, and finally - nice and neat at last - the finished walls with the slabbed interior.
