This one is a "Mark" greenhouse but the owner want another doorway at the back. We looked at 3 options drawing up plans for an in-line porch, a canopy, and a porch which mirrors the front one but with double doors. They chose the last one with double doors at the back and we decided to add cold frames in all four corners. Most of this accoya greenhouse is built and painted - and I brought most of it with me this week to store on site ready for my return in a couple of weeks.

My constant companion Pablo died this morning*. I'm adding this small homage to him as thanks for all his company and happy, playful and inquisitive ways. We'll all miss him terribly. Pablo whilst I'm trying to type and work in the office. I collected Pablo in Oct 2013 from my customer Jean - offsetting the cost of the puppy against the greenhouse. Thanks for everything mate. * I'm writing this after the event of course. Pablo was run over chasing after a farm trailer.

Sent: 03 June 2020 To: [email protected] Dear Robin, Hope you are keeping well. Just a note to thank you for the greenhouse. I really couldn’t be happier with how it has turned out. The workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. It has already created a great desk of envy in my green-fingered neighbours. The working greenhouse is a joy to spend time in. The plants are thriving and we are all looking forward to the cucumbers, tomatoes and myself, the moments spent enjoying the odd cup of tea with the evening the birdsong. Please add this post any any of the pictures for your blog. Best wishes and thanks again. Jonathan This is so close to home I could be visiting for social reasons and not break current Covid rules here in Wales. However, travelling to work is OK anyway and I am able to maintain social distancing easily as I work alone. My customer this week would like a "Tim" greenhouse with a few alterations - a raised bed at one end, a cold frame along the other outside wall and a brick floor rather than paving slabs. It's also going tight up against an old stone wall - which leans in A LOT - and on very sloping ground. A good job this one is close to home/ the workshop as there could be extra working out to do as we go along.
I've pre-built most of this greenhouse and can now finish building the front gable doorway and take account of the extra width of glass needed where the stone wall leans in at the back. The barn roof looks a similar pitch to the greenhouse so it should tie in well.
