This one looks right at home here already doesn’t it. We’ve painted it in “Old White” - a Farrow & Ball colour - which is a toned down white, a little brown - much better than a having a really sharp bright white colour outside. We wanted to match the colour of the surrounding buildings - personally I think the green colours are the best but this really works here by making the greenhouse look part of the same period.
Beautiful weather again. The roof vents were open all day - just closing up automatically in the evening until early morning.

The greenhouse has two cold-frames sited either side of the porch - great for hardening off plants for a week or so before transplanting into the outside beds.
Plants only stay in here for a short time usually so cold-frames don’t need to be large to be useful.
Fully equipped with shelving on all sides and a potting-up station. As the colder weather approaches this greenhouse will be a haven for plants and gardeners!
You’ll find video walk-throughs of this type of greenhouse on the “Videos” page. It’s by far my most popular greenhouse and costs £10,630 including everything you see - from foundations to finials - and some you don’t (the VAT is in that price too).
