As I say, it’s not a big garden so the greenhouse is only 2.5m by 1.8m wide. But it’s what you do with it that counts eh!
So the sides are going to be really high with lots and lots of shelving and we’ve managed to get a cold frame along one whole side. Mike also talked me into adding double doors to the plan rather than one door (as in “Sunny Days” entry above). The proportions look and work better.
The greenhouse will be sited up here....
Base completed - with brick pathway and structure resting on 1foot deep concrete foundations with 2 courses of engineering bricks at ground level to protect brickwork from any rising water.
You really want to see this garden - wow!
I’m so proud that they asked me to build a Green Bug greenhouse here. It’s not a big garden but there is so much detail, colour and character here it would take you hours (pleasurable hours) to walk around it (I’m tempted to do a sneaky video tour when I’ve finished the whole greenhouse - if Mike doesn’t mind). Watch this space...
Work in progress.
I’ll be back.....final visit with glass and structure in a few weeks.
